"'Constant Flow' is a morphing minimal techno excursion from Osaka native AOKI takamasa. With a musical output stretching back to the beginning of the millennium AOKI continues honing his skills, defining his sound and adding the human touch to music made by computer software as he has for labels like Fat Cat (with vocalist Tujiko Norisko), op.disc, Cirque, Progressive Form and most recently Raster-Noton (as part of their "unun series"). This new release on Svakt is a 20 minute workout that leans more towards his minimal techno tendencies than towards his lush glitch sounds, as AOKI explains: "these days i often hang around with techno DJs and i learned a lot from minimal techno. so i made it 20min non stop techno style so that DJs can use it and listeners can enjoy it with both faster and slower pitch." To us, this new single-sided 12" is a complete musical journey that takes the listener many different places while maintaining its minimal techno intentions." (label info) one-sided 180gram vinyl, in printed innersleeve and silkscreened cover. numbered edition of 300 copies, comes with download card
